It's amazing how I lived like a pig at my house in a Aledo, and thought that a mess was no big deal... but after living in a dorm room and sharing my space with another person, I can not STAND for my place to be messy. My apartment is atrocious right now and it is driving me nuts! My sloppy room mate moves out in 17 days. hallelujah!!!
Summer school started last week and it is approximately 30% over with! I only have to go to these classes for 3.5 more weeks! Im taking a Music education class that is soooo so so so easy. It's like beginner band all over again so Ive got this class in the bag. It should be an easy easy easy A... Im one of 4 people that already knows how to read music, we're playing the recorder and the fingerings are very similar to the flute so Im ahead of the game on that one too.. The whole class is pretty jealous of my 9 years of flute experience. Its paying off big time for our midterm because we have to play the recorder in front of the whole class! woot! all those nerve wracking chair tests, solos, concerts are paying off too! thanks band!
My other class is a reading course. I think Im going to keep the textbooks from this class because it's full of some really great ideas! teaching kids how to read is so interesting.. and fun! The class isnt too bad. Hopefully I can land an A... we'll see how she grades things...
