
Whoa, Megan is posting a food blog entry? Let me explain: When I took the Advocare 24 day challenge, I created a board on my pinterest account to put recipes that I could make whilst on the challenge. I instantly got over 200 followers just for that board, but only had 3 things pinned! A lot of the goodness that I eat comes from my Kuhlman cook book or weight watcher recipes, and not the internet. I needed a place to put this recipe so other pinners can enjoy it as well!
So it sounded weird to me at first to shred a squash and eat it like spaghetti. But it was DELICIOUS! I think I like it better than regular spaghetti noodles!
When you buy the squash, it has directions for cooking it on the sticker. I love that I can microwave it!
This sauce is the bomb, and has over 50% of Vegetables needed in half a cup!
I knew I needed some protein, so I picked this up to have on the side of my spaghetti squash. 160 calories, 0 carbs, and 17 g of protein in one sausage!
Roasted some asparagus as I whipped all this up and Voila! A totally healthy meal you can eat whilst on the 10 day cleanse of the Advocare 24 day Challenge!
Since I am pretty sure I'm getting into the Advocare business, I will hopefully find more things and post on here so I can pin them to my board. Kathy's Taco Soup is next!
