I really love my job. the kids in my class are hilarious. I think 3 and 4 year olds are the funniest kids to work with. Kids really do say the darndest things. And I might not get paid as much as some, but kids tell me they love me everyday. Isabella is one of my favorites (i know im not supposed to have favorites but i cant help it).. yesterday, some of the girls were doing this big floor puzzle and they wanted me to help them. I would start helping but would have to get up because someone was crying or tattle taling and i would need to resolve the issue, but when I came back, I sat on the floor and started helping them again. Isabella goes, "Miss Megan you're helping us! I just love you!" as she threw her arms around me. I have funny stories from work everyday. I have been in every classroom, and they are all really great kids.
School is school. not my best semester but Its alright. I have worked 35 hours a week this semester, so I am fine with what I get. My online class is ridiculous.. I wil definitely make a C in that class unless a miracle happens, and my Earth Science class is just annoying. I take the notes, I study, but cant seem to make higher than a C on my tests. Im hoping my lab grade and attendance bumps me up to a B though. I should have A's in the other 3 classes. I am soooo ready for next semester. Im also taking 2 classes up here over the summer. Other than that no big plans... except for a weekend trip to Houston that is currently in the works.
Actually, I will be training this summer for the Breast Cancer 3-day Walk. 60 miles... 20 miles a day. I have to raise a minimum of 2,300 dollars.. so that is kind of scary but Im confident that it can be done. Its promised to be a life changing experience so thats
exciting.
I am going to try and power through the next 5 weeks. starting now with an online test, and 2 papers. bleh.
