Well I have learned that I am going to be Student Teaching at Ashley Elementary in Frisco ISD and will be doing Kindergarten and Fourth Grade! Ashley Elementary is practically in McKinney... Heck.. it IS in McKinney! Definitely a bummer for Caroline because we wanted an apartment as close to Dallas as possible!
When entering the neighborhood the elementary school is located in... the smallest house is probably 4,000 sq.ft. I can not even believe that I was going to be student teaching there. They are of course TEA exemplary.... its Frisco for heavens sake. I am going to have an amazing time student teaching in this area... the only thing I am somewhat concerned about is if I do end up moving to Houston to teach ever.. which is possible... I will not be as prepared for those ESL students, etc.
My Cadre Coordinator just so happens to be one of my professors for one of my summer classes i am currently in! I LOVE her, so I am super excited that she will be the one who observes/grades me when Im out in the school.
The apartment search is stressful... everythign is expensive... Caroline and I are going to look this Saturday.
Summer school is going fast but well!
