1 semester left!!!!

Done, done done done DONNNNEEEEEEEEE!!!!!

Well it's been a stressful few weeks, but I made it! There were a couple of obstacles that happened when trying to get to the end of the semester. One thing is that my hard drive decided to crash while I was in the homestretch of my portfolio! It was horrible! I was stressing out because it was 2 am, and was due the next day, so I drove out to UNT and finished it up. I got home at 4:30 in the morning. Luckily I didn't have anything to do that next day (except for the portfolio) but since I knew it would be better if I just drove out and finished it right then and there.. in my pajamas at the Library... thank goodness it was at an hour when only a couple of people were in there!

I THINK I may have finally gotten a 4.0 I know for a fact that I have one in my Math Methods class, and my Science Methods Class. In my Social Studies Methods I have received A's in everything except for an 84 on my midterm and an 89 on a project, so that class is looking good. And finally, in my Language Arts class, I have gotten an A on every single thing, but I have missed 2 classes.. she said that if we miss more than 1, she drops a letter grade. Well, one day I didn't go because it was flooding and I could not see the road if I drove... and then 2 weeks ago I overslept! first time all semester... so I sent her an e-mail asking her if there was anything I could do to make up for it.. she asked if I had a doctors note for either missed time and of course I dont... but I explained that I have given her nothing but "A" work, and missing one day (which my friends say was totally pointless anyway) shouldn't cause me to lose a letter grade. UHG! Professors can be silly sometimes. Fingers crossed she takes my message into consideration and I made the President's List this semester!

Today I did nothing but lay around until about an hour ago. I started some laundry and made buck-eyes for a Christmas party I am going to tomorrow. I think after this I am going to get one of my Late-night cleaning itches... but I really should sleep. (however my sheets are in the wash so i guess I will clean)

Tomorrow I actually have to wake up early and go to this training my cadre coordinator suggested we go to in Dallas. It's for at-risk students. It was free, I can put it on my resume, and I get a free lunch! after the party I am coming pack to dress in my "cocktail" attire for the christmas party. The party is just for the ladies in my cadre, but they insisted we dress cocktail for fun.. I think it's a little ridiculous because it's just us girls that wear jeans or sweats when we go to class!

my PPR is on the 20th! woo! and I filled out my application for Graduation! It is less than 5 months away!!! Or you can say 148 days away! It's kind of sad that I will be leaving my sweet life and have to go out into the "real" world pretty soon.

Christmas is soon! Yay!
