Being a teacher is exhausting! The days go by quick, but the moment I come home I want to go to bed for the night!

I am sad that I only have a week left in Kindergarten. And really nervous about going into fourth grade. Kindergarten age is my comfort zone after working with pre-k aged kids for so long... I have to face these new kids that are my height and have attitudes! gross. I am still trying to figure out my second mentor teacher as well... She seems very nice but tough. She is an older woman who has done everything, been everywhere, and knows it all. It is sure to be an intense learning experience. Oh, did I mention I havent set foot in a fourth grade classroom since I was in fourth grade myself?

Other new news in my world is that I've been asked to be a bridesmaid in my good friend Allie's wedding in July. We have akways had at least one class together every semester of college. Her name is Allie Tzourtzouklis... and she is going to be an Elementary teacher! hahaha I told her she better start working on coming up with a song so that her students can remember how to spell her name, but luckily she gets to go from Ms. Tzroutzouklis to Mrs. Jones just in time before school starts! Anyway, I am prety excited about the dress she picked! Its dark purple, strapless, short, and has pockets! I am excited.
