Certified!

I passed my certification test!!!! oh goodness what a relief!!!!
Applying for certification is in the works. hello $77 Certification fee and $45.25 to get my finger printing done.

So now, I am waiting on my certification, I have my "Letter of Intent" that states I will be graduating in May, sooo now all I need to do is come up with a sweet resume, get some letters of recommendation and I will be on the job hunt!

Friday was my last day in fourth grade. I cried. All of the kiddos gave me a card, some brought me gifts, and my mentor teacher loaded me up with some great teacher stuff! I feel so blessed to have had her as a mentor because she is such an amazing teacher!!

We have Monday off due to President's day, but I have to go to Campus for a seminar and to do some things for my special education class. Tuesday I go back to Kindergarten. Oh what a change it will be!

Jager is in town this weekend. He is playing in a CD release party tonight in Denton. 2 years ago (when he was still in college) A trumpet player from the One O'clock jazz band, composed several pieces of music in a Program he calls "Math and Magic," Anyway, Jager was the bassoonist in the recording, and it is now available on iTunes! He is really excited to be playing his bassoon!

I have somewhat calmed down about this whole graduation business. I just hope that my brother can get home from school early enough, and that it is a relaxing day. I suppose I won't be subbing that day. I want to get to UNT early and take some pictures in the daylight, maybe grab some early dinner, then I will head out to walk the stage. I'm trying to make the best out of a situation I have zero control over.
