4 weeks.. 7 weeks.

How crazy is it that I only have 4 weeks left of student teaching? I know I always blog about my countdowns to whatever exciting thing is happening. I just cant get over how much has happened in this past year! My Cadre coordinator, who has been with Frisco girls from the very beginning, just told us that she is officially the coordinator for the 2011-2012 Frisco Cadre. So she is having a meeting with them, and we are going to be there to talk to them if they have any questions about this whole process, and what to expect once you are in the elementary school. I was so confused and nervous going into this last year, and now it's almost over!!!

I am having my first observation in Kindergarten this Thursday. It's a math lesson.. I'm trying to tweak it. My supervisor already told me he isn't worried about me and that he knows I will do just fine, but I want him to keep that impression. Since he is confident in my abilities, he scheduled my 2nd (and last ever) observation, the following thursday! So I'm going to get it knocked out just like that!

This online class I'm taking is a pain in my rear. I never know how I am doing in that class because she doesn't post our grades. I feel like I do NOTHING in that class. we only meet one more time at the end of April, and everything else is online. It would be super horrible if I failed that class and couldn't graduate!!! Surely that wouldn't happen....

I have graduation in 7 weeks! AH! I finally ordered some graduation announcements last night. I was going to have my room mate design some for me, but I waited too long to figure out how many I needed, and what exactly I wanted on them. So I went to the website that the University uses, and they were having some special deals going on... so for about the price it would have cost to have Caroline do some digital printed announcements, I got the embossed print, nice paper, and a LOT of "free" stuff with it such as: thank you cards, a certificate frame, foil lined envelopes, keepsake tassel, photo frame, address labels and more! Those announcements should arrive at my apartment in 2-3 weeks, and I will stuff them, and address them IMMEDIATELY and send them out...
