I swear I am not a crazy person. I have an evaluation from my principal coming up. Starting on Monday, my "window" is open for 2 weeks. In that "window" my principal will be coming in to sit in on my class for 45+ min. It is making my stomach churn as I type this.
If he comes during my 3rd rotation I would just die. Those kids are my toughest group and I have them after they get back from Recess, CAMP, and lunch (yes all 3 in a row). At the end of the day these kids are crazy.
Last week was a tough one. Here's why:
- I have had serious allergy issues
- Grades were due Friday
- I realized we have a CBA in 2 weeks
- Freaked out that my window was coming up
- Had to plan for 2 weeks instead of 1
- Had to re-do all my math stations
- I have to go to way too many meetings
Let me make it very clear that I LOVE teaching. My job is awesome from 8am-3pm when I have children in my classroom. Its all this new administration business I am having to get used to.
I may be going up to school tomorrow, but I am hoping that it will only be for an hour or so. I figured out how to check out a key and got the alarm code. There were other teachers there during the day, but after 4 I was alone and kept getting freaked out.
Hope you are liking the blog make over. Notice I added a "Follow by e-mail" gadget so those that don't have a blogger can get minute to minute updates via email :) .
