I have registered and PAID for my certification exams! so the night sweats and stress can begin.
I am taking one computer-based test in Plano on December 20th. It is a PPR exam.. Practice and Pedagogy... or something like that. It is basically a test full of different scenarios.. and the answer is what you would do if it were your class. You are supposed to answer it as if you lived in a perfect world with unlimited funds and perfect parent support etc. so that is supposed to be the easier of the 2.
The harder of the 2 tests is a content exam.. where it is basically everything I have learned in college. I will be taking that test on paper, in Denton at a local high school. On January 29, 2011. So I have a little bit more time to prepare for that one.
I have some study books I bought off of Amazon, and there are some study guides available to print online.. Hopefully I can pass them both the first time so I don't have to pay or stress again!!! (but if I do... I have left time available to take it again just in case.)
