Good-bye 4th Graders

I had my last week at Ashley and it was very sad. On my last day before the day was over I was trying my best to contain my tears as I told the kids they were such a great class and that I really enjoyed the last 12 weeks with them. I knew the kids were upset that I was leaving but I did not expect all the bawling that occurred. Of course they all got hugs and it made me cry even more. Those kids were so great and I am so sad I won't be able to see them anymore.

The students and parents were beyond kind to me during my last week. I was sent the sweetest e-mails from parents, cute cards from my kids, and so many generous gift cards and gifts! I was so blessed to have those 23 kids in my life!!!!

Monday I meet with a principal about long term subbing at the end of February (not sure how long for), but that will give me the opportunity to search for a permanent teaching job, while hopefully getting my ESL certification and subbing for other schools. It would also be nice not to have to move! And my mom and I need to go to Vegas!
