So real life classroom...
The Word Wall without words
And now with words. Words on top of letters are high frequency words, words below letters are content words (math in my case)
PS that's not how I usually keep my desks. We are doing a review tomorrow and I like to change it up for a day or so.
This is a before picture of my Writing wall, before I added the cardstock for displaying student work
With Student work
I don't like to constantly staple papers up, so I stapled cardstock to the wall and I can change out the work easily by placing a paper clip on the card stock. It does a pretty good job holding the kids' work.
Before I knew my students' names, this was my Station Area
Stations. Blue squares are my kids, green is 2nd rotation, purple is 3rd rotation. The squares have magnets on them so I can switch up the groups whenever necessary. Every day I rotate the numbers down. Students go to the station # wherever their name is. They take out the drawers and go to a designated area.
Also take note that my round table is no longer of there. I moved it next to my desk area, but forgot to take a pic. That may have to be it's own post.
Nice job making it to the end! I hope you enjoyed "real" pictures of my room. It is definitely my second home. :)
