Week One of Grad School: Complete

So I survived my first week of multi-tasking between teaching, grad school, running, and gym classes. If I can keep up with this structure, then I think I can handle it. This is what my weeks are looking like:

Monday - Teach, run 3 miles, Body Pump at gym @ 5:30, Compose the week's discussion posting, work on required readings

Tuesday - Teach, tutoring/Lone Star after school, Medium (4 or 5 mile) Run, Respond to 2 discussion postings, required readings

Wednesday - Teach, Staff meetings after school, Zumba at gym @7:30, work on required readings

Thursday - Teach, run 3 miles, Tutor Conner, Respond to 2 Discussion postings, work on required readings and Weekly Assignment

Friday - Teach, Lone Star Practice after school, go directly to gym for Body Pump at 5:30 and Zumba at 6:30

Saturday - Recovery Day, grocery shop for week, work on Weekly assignment, Respond to 2 discussion postings, required readings.

Sunday - Long Run Day, Weekly Assignment due. Grade Papers, clean apartment

If I stick to this, I keep my sanity. It is a crazy hectic schedule, but each day has a purpose, and after my scheduled work outs, I tend to have more energy to finish off my night. Needless to say, I fall asleep pretty easily. I don't like waking up...

I am thankful to have the day off tomorrow to get ahead in my assignment and readings. It will be nice to have my mom visit next weekend, and my running buddy back to help hold me accountable to our training program! I definitely made the right decision by only taking one course at a time. At this rate, this year will be over in the blink of an eye!
