I officially have the most amazing 4th grade class. They are angels. I am sure that the data clerk went easy on this class considering their full-time teacher is out for 12 weeks. I am so excited to spend the next 12 weeks with them and continue to grow as an educator.
One boy just moved from another state. He is such a respectable young man! He looks like he came from the military because he usually wear camo shorts or shirt and has a flat top. Today after signing his agenda I told him, "{Name}, when I have a son, I hope he acts just like you." He responded with a smile and just said, "Yeah!"
But seriously, every kid in the class is such a nice kid! I should probably soak it in because it may never work out that way in the future!
4th grade is an awesome year. Who would have thought that this time last year when I was student teaching in Kindergarten and was nervous about fourth, that I would turn around and LOVE those 9 and 10 year olds!
