I wish people knew my kids like I do when I tell stories about them. I'll try to paint a picture for you.
This particular student is in G.T. (gifted and talented) and is very quiet. When he does speak, he is very monotoned. Hey has longer hair, and is always pushing it down the sides of his forehead so that he has his part in the middle and his hair flips up. He rarely smiles, and when he does it is a smirk at something everyone laughs at.
Like I said... he never talks... when he does, he is extremely random.
In his monotoned voice, while paperclipping his paper...
*holds paper clip and looks at it*
"This paper clip looks exactly like the paper clip my brother used to unlock the door and let the cat in while I was sleeping."
I paused for a second, then busted up laughing. (come on... it's a paper clip.. they all look the same!)
"What? I had a lot of scratches."
Seriously.. there was no expression in his face or in his voice... he paperclipped his paper and walked away..
I wish you knew him!
